In 1990, we realized there were lots of 'question books' on the market reviewing nursing but even though they had the word NCLEX® in the title, there were none specifically addressing the NCLEX® activities tested by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
We needed an NCLEX® specific question book for the NCLEX-RN® reviews we were presenting. NCLEX-RN® 101: HOW TO PASS! was our first publication. That's how we got started in the publishing business.
Participants of our reviews asked for copies of the images we were using to help them learn easily and remember what they learned. This is how Nursing Made Insanely Easy! was born. We had international requests to publish Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy!, which debuted in 2001. With popular requests resulting from our overwhelming success with Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy! books, evolved our Pharmacology Made Insanely Easy!© workshops.
Debuting in 2002, our workshops travel to your schools assisting your success in the often difficult world of pharmacology.
For years many nursing faculty asked us for a book on how to use our images and how to help students learn. This led to the writing of Pathways to Teaching Nursing: Keep it real! in 2006.
We have the strong belief that any one of us can accomplish anything when we are connected to our source energy. For this reason, we named our publishing company ICAN. Our books are currently distributed in the USA and Internationally.
